"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness..."
-2 Timothy 3:16

  • We believe that the Bible is God's message for humanity and is the blueprint for life
  • We believe the Bible is inspired by the Holy Spirit, who used humans to convey God's message in written form for the generations
  • We believe in the infallibility of the Bible concerning it's purpose based upon the original manuscripts
  • We believe the Bible to be authoritative in the life of every Christian Believer and should be the rule of life
  • We believe the canon (existing compilation) of the Bible is closed and although there are other writings that might have been included, they are not because of Holy Spirit's guiding hands to the early believers
  • We believe that Jesus is the Living Word of God
  • We believe that although the Word of God is infallible, our interpretation of those scriptures is not. As the Apostle Paul declared, "we see only in part". Therefore Holy Spirit provides illumination of scripture helping us to understand.
  • We believe as John Wesley taught that all theological musings are to be done within the context of Scripture, Tradition, Reason, and Experience. This template was entitled the Quadralateral by 20th century scholar Albert Outler.

And Jesus answered and said to him, Blessed are you, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood has not revealed it to you, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also to you, That you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it..." -Matthew 16:16-18

  • We believe that the church was birthed on Pentecost
  • We believe this community of faith is an extension of God's work in the world through His chosen people Israel, by being grafted into the root of Jesse
  • We believe that the church is a community of believers under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
  • We believer the church is to be an extension of Christ’s life and ministry in the world today.
  • We believe the church is to be a redemptive fellowship in which the Word of God is preached by humans divinely called
  • We believe that the primary mission of the church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ.
  • We believe that the church is a passionate worshipping body offering God a sacrifice of praise.
  • We believe that signs and wonders should follow Christians, because the same Spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead (Holy Spirit of Christ) dwells in us.
  • We believe Jesus is the same today, yesterday, and forever and that the words Jesus spoke to His disciples in that first century still apply to us.

"And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you..." -Luke 22:19-20

  • We believe the sacraments ordained by Christ are symbols and pledges of the Christian profession of God's love toward us.
  • We believer the sacraments are means of grace by which God works invisibly in us, quickening, strengthening, and confirming our faith in Him
  • We believe there are two sacraments namely Baptism and the Lord's Supper
